About the Role


Operating in one of the HR Centres of Excellence; the HR Shared Service Centre, to deliver the HR provision, aligned to service delivery needs through requests from the HRBP's.

Working collaboratively with other team members in the HR Shared Service and other HR Centres of Excellence; Engagement, Learning &OD & Talent and Acquisition, to achieve against KPI/SLA's along with excellent customer satisfaction.


To provide support to the HRBP's on people issues for Business wide projects including TUPE, mobilisation, demobilisations of contracts, acquisitions, and change management programmes.

Your Day to Day

  • Provide expert advice and support on all employee relation matters.
  • Effectively coach managers on all HR policies and procedures promoting the selfservice HRIS approach.
  • Build collaborative relationships and effective working partnerships across the HR Shared Service Centre, and other HR Centres of Excellence;
  • Support the HR Business Partners in the delivery of the People Plan to meet strategic Business objectives.
  • Support the HR Business Partners in people projects including TUPE, mobilisations demobilisations of contracts, acquisitions and change management programmes
  • Effectively utilise HRIS for HR Performance Reporting and driving improvements in service delivery.
  • Advocate and sponsor the HR Centres of Excellence across the Totally Group.
  • Support EDI, Health and Wellbeing initiatives across the Totally Group.
  • Support delivery of training and development interventions to drive improvements in workforce capability.
  • Support line managers with performance management including Appraisals, Process Improvement Plans
  • Provide support to managers with the management of longterm sick absence cases including OHS referrals, redeployment scoping.
  • Support managers in the completion of all Mandatory Training Programmes in line with Group objectives.
  • Seek advice and guidance from the HR Shared Service Centre Manager on HR Service delivery requirements.
  • Undertake continuous professional development.

Qualification, Experience & Training

  • CIPD Level 5 Qualification or working towards and/or equivalent HR advisory level experience
  • GCSE English & Maths (minimum Grade 4 or equivalent)
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Advanced MS Office skills and experienced, in particular, in the use of the Microsoft packages including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Understanding of the HR information requirements of a large organisation
  • Experience in working in a fastpaced HR environment at an advisory level
  • Experience of managing employee relations
  • HR technical experience including current employment law
  • Experience in delivering HR training
  • Experience in delivering high quality customer service
  • Experience of delivering HR Projects
  • Knowledge of HR Policy and procedures.
