Our client, a reputable international bank, is looking for an
Operation Manager.


The person will be responsible for settlement and general affairs to ensure the bank's overall operations run smoothly at all times, offering excellent back office service in accurate, timely and efficient manners.


[Responsibilities]
(1) Responsible for overall daily control of the back office, IT, Resilience & general affairs operations

  • Settlement of financial transactions
  • General accounting of business activities
  • Reconciliation of bank balances and securities
  • End of day book closing process
  • Developing operational policies and procedures
  • Monitoring Sanctions Screening system and reporting to Compliance Officer
  • Continuous support for upgrade and development of Core Banking system
  • Health & Safety and Environmental issues
(2) Review and keep records of procurement & contract in relation to office maintenance

(3) Managing and ensuring operational continuity & resilience of the internal operation including management of IT outsourcing contracts and communication with the third-party IT consultants

(4) Organize IT committee meeting and provide secretary support for chair person and committee members

(5) Assist managements to coordinate resources and to communicate operational priorities

(6) Continuously update annual Business Continuity Plan and conduct annual test

[Requirements]
(1) Hands-on experience with accounting & banking software

(2) Experience in SWIFT and Euroclear Settlements

(3) Previous exposure to bank back office operations and operational resilience

(4) Previous exposure to third party and outsourced function management

(5) Fixed income settlement experience

(6) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

(7) Flexible & adaptable
