Job Overview

Orla Rose Associates is seeking a highly skilled Settlements Expert to join our team in FX Operations. As a key member of our OTC Operations team, you will be responsible for providing daily operational support to the FX Desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all incoming receipts and outgoing FX payments for clients requiring delivery.
  • Process and maintain FX client trading limits.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders on FX desk queries and booking FX amendments/rolls.
  • Develop close relationships with clients to handle all FX queries.
  • Collaborate with Treasury and accounts to ensure smooth settlement processes.
  • Ensure distribution of FX client position statements.
  • Manage the team FX inbox.
  • Perform payment netting with Liquidity Providers and Clients.
  • Identify and escalate high-risk exceptions.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience working in an FX payments/settlements team.
  • In-depth knowledge of FX settlements from trade date to settlement.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work under pressure for demanding stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Operational Risk within a middle office or operations department.
  • Knowledge of FX Options products and associated lifecycle events.
  • Experience in product-related project work.
  • Experience of processing FX trade settlements.
