We now have an opportunity for a Cyber Security Consultant to join the team.

This is a hybrid role with an expectation to work in our Bellshill office 2 days per week (or more where operationally required), with remote working supported on other days.

Here's what the role looks like:

We are looking for a highly skilled, highly motivated Cyber Security Consultant to help grow our Cyber Security practice. You will be seen as a trusted advisor and help our customers achieve their digital transformation objectives through the design, delivery, and optimisation of secure, high-performing hybrid infrastructure environments.

The role will require the Cyber Security Consultant to have a deep understanding of our customer requirements, collaborative the solution development, and foster ongoing partnerships to ensure long-term success.

Responsibilities:

Cultivate Deep Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with clients to comprehensively understand their unique business landscape, the obstacles they encounter, and their strategic objectives. Drive Solution-Focused Dialogues: Initiate and lead conversations centred on security solutions, effectively showcasing the capabilities of relevant security products in a way that directly addresses the client's identified challenges. Deliver Impactful Product Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that clearly articulate the value proposition and demonstrable benefits of security solutions, fostering informed decision-making. Provide Technical Sales Leadership: Assume a role of technical expertise throughout the sales and delivery cycle, ensuring a seamless and insightful client experience during the evaluation and purchasing and operating process.

Key attributes: Self Motivated Confident Strong technical knowledge with a good commercial awareness

Key Skills and experience:

Extensive experience in a similar role or field based / consulting role Specialised technical knowledge and experience of cyber security as evidenced by relevant industry qualifications ( GICSP, GCIP, CISSP, CISM). Knowledge in cyber security frameworks and standards as well as a deep understanding of cyber security regulations as they apply to different sectors. Analysis and management of risks and cybersecurity controls. Standards and methodologies: ISO 27000, NIST, SANS CSC, etc. Understanding of Infrastructure, Networking and Cloud environments Knowledge in Identity & Access Management (experience in Beyond Trust & Delinea advantageous) Knowledge in Backup & Recovery technologies and installation (experience in Cohesity advantageous) Previous experience working with or within a Security Operations Centre or Incident Response team is advantageous You will be required to pass the Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Security Clearance as set by Warwickshire Police
