About the Role

Belcan Workforce Solutions is looking for experienced Stress Engineers to join the team in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. As a stress engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the structural design meets all necessary requirements using tools like Nastran, MathCAD, and Hypermesh.

In this role, you will participate in team discussions, reviews, and work closely with the lead stress engineer to complete exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying strength and stiffness requirements
  • Performing structural analysis
  • Ensuring design meets requirements
  • Defining structural testing
  • Monitoring tests and producing test assessment reports

Skills and Experience Required:

To be successful in this role, you need to be a qualified stress engineer with significant experience. Proficiency in tools like Nastran, MathCAD, and Hypermesh is essential. Knowledge of MS Office, MSC Nastran, and experience in lightweight structures are also desired.
