Principal Stress Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Principal Stress Engineer to join our team at MBDA. As a key member of our Mechanical Analysis Group, you will be responsible for leading structural analysis work packages and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver structural analysis work packages using classical hand calculation methods and CAE tools.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers in their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the Mechanical Analysis Group.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering or science discipline, or significant experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in estimating, planning, and leading structural analysis work packages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to network, influence, and manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to obtain and hold DV clearance.
