Job Title: Principal Stress Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Principal Stress Engineer to join our team at MBDA UK Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading structural analysis work packages, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead structural analysis work packages, using both classical hand calculation methods and CAE tools (Hyperworks desirable)
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, providing technical expertise and fostering their professional growth
  • Contribute to process improvements for the Mechanical Analysis Group
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure that work is delivered on time, on quality, and on cost
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering/science discipline or significant experience in a relevant field (e.g. Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural Analysis)
  • Proven experience in estimating, planning, leading, and delivering structural analysis work packages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to network, influence, and manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to obtain and hold DV clearance (an asset)
