Role Outline


We are looking for a licensed security dog handler with a NASDU registered dog to perform security guarding services on our client's construction sites.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring the site is safe and secure
  • Monitoring site access points & assets
  • Dealing with members of the public who approach/enter the site
  • Preventing losses and damage by reporting any irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures
  • Completing patrols around the site
  • Controlling traffic by directing drivers
  • Completing daily occurrence logs during shift
  • Reporting suspicious activity

About You:

  • Must hold a valid SIA license
  • Must have own certified NASDU registered dog, with full insurance and uptodate vaccinations
  • You will need to be a good written and verbal communicator
  • Professional and presentable at all times
  • Must be confident enough to raise alarms and contact emergency services
  • Must be comfortable with completing relevant paperwork

Working Times:


We may require you to work on different sites fulfilling different duties and working a variety of different shift patterns, therefore you will be required to have a flexible approach to the work offered.

It is beneficial if you have your own transport.

Salary:
£12.00-£12.75 per hour
