Position OverviewnThis position is located at our distribution center in London, UK.The Warehouse Manager oversees the location's warehouse and manages all activities related to the Yita's internal and external warehousing operations, ensuring that company's objectives for efficiency, economy, quality and productivity are met or exceeded.
ResponsibilitiesSafety:
nPrioritize and ensure the safety of all crew members and inventory goodsnExamine and maintain proper warehouse equipment service and safetynInvestigate and report all on-the-job accidents and injuries in a thorough and timely manner.
Comply with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)nMaintain high standards of organization, hygiene and cleanliness at warehousenSafeguard warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocolsPeople:
nResponsible for recruitment, training, and management of all direct reportsnCooperate and work alongside crew members; perform other duties as needednDemonstrate strong leadership and promote a productive, team environmentnHandle sensitive personnel data with confidentiality and assist with other HR and bookkeeping duties
Operations:
nDirect day-to-day warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, distribution, inventory control and maintenance operationsnInitiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and proceduresnConfirm all warehouse operations are in compliance with company's policies, current laws and regulationsnReceive feedback and monitor the quality of services and goods providednUtilize the warehouse management system (WMS) with in-depth understanding
Analytics:
nManage stock control and reconcile with data storage systemnCalculate and setup physical space and layout for maximum efficiencynProduce reports and statistics regularly (i.e., IN/OUT status, dead stock report...)nReconcile, report and submit all payment transactions at the end of the work daynDemonstrate strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
QualificationsnBachelor's degree or equivalent experience requirednFluency in both English and Chinese requiredn3+ years of warehouse management experience requirednComfortable with technology; and can utilize Microsoft Word, and ExcelnAbility to multitask and manage deadlines independentlynExcellent leadership and communication skillsnStrong attentiveness and accuracy to detailsnAbility to lift 50+ pounds
