ResQ is currently seeking an IT Deskside Support Apprentice to join our team in Seaham.

As an IT Deskside Support Apprentice, you'll closely collaborate with our experienced IT team to provide technical support to our employees, gaining valuable hands-on experience in resolving hardware and software issues, configuring workstations, and supporting IT projects.

What to anticipate learning as an IT Deskside Support Apprentice:

  • Customer service: Providing crucial IT support services to our workforce and handling incoming help requests with a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Problem-solving computer issues: Taking ownership of IT problems, processing incidents, and managing them through an incident management system.
  • Hardware and application support: Assisting users with a variety of technical issues related to devices and software, engaging in computer networking, and managing hardware and software procurement.
  • Software upgrades installation: Performing hands-on installations and upgrades for desktops and laptops, followed by rigorous testing to ensure compliance.
  • Documentation management: Recording, tracking, and documenting help desk processes, decisions, and interactions with colleagues.
