Job Summary

We are looking for a General Practitioner (GP) to join our team for up to 6 sessions per week. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of duties including face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, triage calls, repeat prescriptions, and patient queries. We need a caring and committed Doctor who can maintain high clinical standards and work collaboratively in a motivated team environment. Main Duties of the Job

Job Responsibilities

Overall Purpose: Provide NHS personal medical services to registered patients on the Practice list.

Clinical Responsibilities: Managing a diverse caseload, addressing health needs, making autonomous decisions, developing care plans, prescribing medication, recording consultation notes, and contributing to medical student training.

Maintaining, Monitoring, and Updating Computer Database: Ensure accurate and timely updating of clinical records, participate in data collection, and adhere to relevant coding standards.

Practice Organisation
  • Process and manage patient and hospital correspondence
  • Participate in meetings and audits
  • Adhere to the complaints system and relevant guidelines
  • Maintain current certifications
Confidentiality
