To join a company renowned for creating reliable and flexible test and measurement solutions empowering broadcasters and content creators to set up, troubleshoot, and supervise their video-delivery systems and workflows, iO Associates is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer.
Delving into the entire software stack, you'll handle everything from high-level software (catering to user interface, integration services, and control software) to specialized Linux device drivers interacting with distinctive hardware.
As you develop solutions that capitalize on advancing broadcast technologies, you'll familiarize yourself with the latest embedded computing platforms.
The products utilize a blend of technologies including FPGAs, Yocto, Linux, C++, Qt, and ARM.
Qualifications and Experience required for the role:
- Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software development experience with a proven track record of successful delivery within the software development lifecycle
- 2+ years of C++ professional experience (at least C++11)
- 2+ years of professional Linux development experience
- Proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals like data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
- Exposure to current software development best practices such as design reviews, coding standards, source control management, testing, and operations
