Senior Electrical Engineer

Reed Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for our industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for industrial applications, including machine electrical and control systems.
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical work on bespoke production equipment.
  • Deliver high-quality projects within budget, cost, and time parameters.
  • Travel nationally and internationally for on-site commissioning and servicing of equipment, including fault finding and offering technical support.
Requirements:
  • Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • Experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
  • Rockwell RS5000 and Siemens S7 PLC programming skills.
  • Competence in electrical and mechanical systems (3 phase, motors, inverters, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics).
  • Customer-facing experience and comfortable in office, workshop, and factory environments.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of CAD software (E plan / AutoCAD).
  • Experience with Equipment UKCA/CE Marking and Risk Assessment.
