Reports to: Events Operations Manager

Based: Battersea Park

Salary: £28,000 to £31,000

Contract: Permanent Full Time

DBS: Basic

Hours: 40 hours per week. Non-traditionalhours/shiftswillbebasedon event/companyneedsandallocatedonarotabasis The working pattern will regularly involve antisocial hours, evenings and long shifts.

General Overview:

ReportingtotheEvents OperationsandRotaManager,theEventsDuty Managerwilllead with and support the delivery and logistics ofall events including weddings, functions, corporate, community and larger scale production days ensuring all events run smoothly.

This role will include early mornings and late nights, as well as weekend work on a rota basis. The EventsDuty Managerwillalsoberesponsible forensuringthathealth andsafetyprocedures are adhered to when on site and will be tasked with managing casual staff and suppliers as they rig and derig their equipment for the day. TheEventsTeamareaverybusy,creative,tightknitgroupofvibrant professionals whostriveto challenge and innovate wherever we can. Responsible For:

Events:

  • Overseeingthesetupandbreakdownofthewidevarietyofeventsasrequiredbythe Events Team
  • Onsiteeventdeliverytoincludebutnotlimited tocustomerservice,organisingsuppliers, adhering to health and safety guidelines and guest management.
  • Supportingordeputisingtheeventmanagers todeliverevents includingweddingsand functions, corporate, community and production events
  • Deputisingfortheeventmanagerstoleadateamofcasualstafftoensure customer satisfaction
  • Havingcomprehensiveknowledgeofthevenuesincludinganyrestrictions,rulesor limitations and can communicate these to clients, guests and suppliers
  • Themainon-sitecontact forearlyshifts,managingandco-ordinatingsuppliers,ensuring park rules are adhered to in a safe, secure and timely manner
  • Latenightswillinvolve managinggueststoensurethattheyleave thevenue safely,whilst also co-ordinating and overseeing suppliers who are breaking down equipment
  • Liaisingwithsuppliersincluding availabilitychecks,circulatingbriefingsandschedules and general information enquiries.
  • Actasfirstaidandfiremarshal(training willbeprovided)

Building Management:

  • Ensuring the Enable events buildings are presentable and fit for purpose both pre and post events, by managing the day-to-day duties including cleaning, raising any health and safety concernsandreporting anymaintenanceissues totheEventsOperationsandRotaManager.
  • Carryingoutregularinventory checksonequipment andreportinganydamages.
  • Managingallstorageareas,ensuringtheyarewellorganized andtidy.

Visitor Service:

  • Ensuring all casual staff are trained, presentable and motivated to provide 5 star customer serviceandgoingtheextramileforallofourguests.Providingallstaffwiththeknowledge to be able to confidently market and promote our services and events.
  • Toensureconsistentuptodateinformationisdisplayed throughoutthebuilding andthat the Enable brand is presented professionally and clearly at all times.
  • Ensuringallcustomer-relatedcomplaints,incidentsandaccidentsareloggedand reported to management
