Job Description

Job Purpose:


Join us as a Project Support Officer at the forefront of managing critical Defence and Security contracts in the UK. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting intricate projects and overseeing a personal portfolio of minor projects.

You will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of products and services to our clients, ensuring the highest standards of documentation and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently manage a set of minor tasks and projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality benchmarks
- Facilitate communication among various stakeholders, such as facility users, contractors, and internal departments
- Collaborate closely with the CDE Managed Service Team, actively contributing to strategic objectives and maintaining alignment with project goalsDay-to-Day Activities:

- Leverage strong IT and technical competencies to improve project monitoring, tracking, and reporting using tools like Microsoft Office and CDMS
- Develop Consolidated Comment Response Matrices
- Follow up and close out on Technical Queries, Drawings, and Transmittals
- Liaise with package leads
- Record Meeting Minutes and manage Diary Scheduling for stakeholders and senior leadership teams

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

- Educational Background in Business Administration, Project Management, or related fields

Experience:
Experience in overseeing or assisting in project execution within a multi-stakeholder contextDesirable Skills:

- Proficiency in essential IT tools like Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SharePoint
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, collaborative mindset
- Dedication to continuous learning and meticulous attention to detail
- Background in Infrastructure

Security clearance:


Due to the nature of the role, candidates must meet specific residency criteria to gain at least a basic level of UK security clearance if not already cleared to a minimum SC level.

Work primarily based in Bristol with occasional visits to Plymouth
