To accept delegated assessment responsibility, developing individual plans of care to meet the immediate and ongoing needs of the patients and carers.
Prioritise and effectively manage clinical time and other responsibilities. To plan, organise and prioritise the workload of other members of staff, with possibility of some supervisory duties. Educate patients/carers and demonstrate treatment programmes with the indirect supervision of a qualified practitioner.
Demonstrate working knowledge of other providers resources and referral systems to ensure patient needs are met, within scope of practice.
Maintain good communication with the multidisciplinary teams within health and social services to ensure the relevant professionals are aware of the patients current status and make referrals as appropriate.
