Connect Personnel is representing a valued client who is actively seeking a Senior HR Manager to join the school's HR team. The ideal candidate needs to be ready to start promptly. After the initial 2 weeks, a hybrid work model is an option, but flexibility is key as occasional school visits may be necessary.

Role Overview:

  • The Senior HR Manager will provide strategic leadership to ensure the efficient operation of a professional team in HR Advisory Services, catering to the needs of customers. This role is crucial in aligning HR services with the goals of the council, schools, and broader organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate at both strategic and operational levels with various departments and schools to determine HR priorities and implement people management strategies that align with business objectives and organizational values. Assist in shaping and executing the Council's Workforce Strategy to maximize employee potential.
  • Offer expert leadership and advice on strategic and operational Employee Relations matters, including engagement, performance management, conflict resolution, and more. Additionally, play a pivotal role in organizational change management, HR policy enforcement, and consultation processes.
  • Work closely with HR peers and service departments to provide strategic guidance on organizational and cultural transformation initiatives, supporting the Council's improvement objectives.
  • Explore and leverage income generation opportunities to bolster the core functions of HR & OD and contribute to the Council's broader strategies, while delivering a robust Investigations Service.
