THE JOB:


The Project Coordinator leads and manages various projects for the Implementation and Solutions organization, ensuring timely and within-budget project completion using project management best practices to ensure top-notch quality.

The Project Coordinator establishes project management standards and goals, devises operational plans and project management approaches to achieve them.

Prioritizes technical project management tasks and promotes the technical project management function to enhance collaboration across different departments.

The Project Coordinator collaborates extensively in deploying and supporting Ticketmaster processes and products, playing a vital role in ensuring clients have necessary resources.


Specific project tasks include developing functional requirements for Business Operations teams, creating project plans, budgets, and schedules, managing critical path tasks and teams, identifying and resolving issues, and overseeing project success.

It is crucial to comprehend the scope and impact of all project changes by seeking input from all stakeholders and involving relevant teams.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Manage scope with stakeholders, execute tasks with the development team, and communicate progress to managers and senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate within the client support organization and other sub-organizations as needed
  • Define process enhancements and feedback for the project, including necessary strategies for timely completion
  • Collect essential assets for each project's development, such as functional specifications, hardware/software specifications, project tool workflows, budget constraints, and other technical documentation
  • Offer feedback to project stakeholders, including specification input, issue escalation, or scope changes/clarifications to resources
  • Update project information promptly
  • Support product positioning in the market, drive sales enablement, client support, editorial awareness, and contribute to marketing strategies for growth and retention
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver projects aligning with the organization's strategic vision
  • Manage risks and issues, implement corrective actions, and resolve cross-project and strategic issues with senior stakeholders
  • Safeguard project vision and business case viability
  • Maintain strategic alignment between the project and the organization
  • Discover innovative problem-solving approaches
  • Lead the project to successful completion
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
  • Preferably trained in Project Management Professional (PMP) fundamentals
  • Preferred experience with Waterfall/Agile project management methodologies
  • Desirable background in Technical Project Management
  • Experience in the venue/ticketing industry and understanding of ticketing operations are beneficial
  • Demonstrated technical project management skills
  • Experience in managing IT and operational projects related to infrastructure
  • Proven track record in collaborating with business and technology teams to develop and launch new products
  • Proficient in authoring project plans, creating project budgets, and defining technical requirements
  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, and other project management methodologies is advantageous
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Shown creativity in generating solutions
  • Effective communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Adaptability facilitating successful teamwork across all levels
  • Preferably holds a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Skilled in communicating with both business individuals and software engineers
