What you'll do:

  • Pursue independent research projects.
  • Train graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in light microscopy and molecular genetic methods.
  • Evaluate new techniques and technology as requested.
  • Research the scientific literature for methods optimization and for the conceptual background of projects.
  • Operate and help maintain sophisticated microscopes.
  • Provide general research project support to other team members.

What you bring:

  • Ph.
D. in biomedical sciences with experience in microscopy and image analysis is required.

  • Strong computer skills, including demonstrated proficiency in image analysis software such as ImageJ and basic AI methods.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to use good judgment in working independently.
  • Sense of selfmotivation, flexibility, integrity, and ability to work in a diverse environment with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Research Specialist I - $67,540 (minimum) - $84,400 (midpoint) - $109,780 (maximum)

Research Specialist II - $78,870 (minimum) - $98,500 (midpoint) - $128,040 (maximum)
