We are looking forward to working with an experienced and fully autonomous Clinical Respiratory Physiologist with a high level of demonstrable technical ability and clinical understanding.


  • Full lung function testing
  • Respiratory muscle assessment
  • Capillary blood gases
  • Bronchial provocation using Mannitol
  • Sleep studies.
  • Hypoxic challenge tests


The post holder will be involved in helping to further develop and expand the suite of tests currently offered, namely Cardio-Pulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET).


This post offers the opportunity to expand your skills and advance your career in respiratory physiology within a large specialist teaching hospital.

Additionally to working in the busy Lung Function Department.

Ideally you will be working as a Clinical Physiologist at band 6 or band 5 with significant experience working in a Lung Function Laboratory.
