Senior Respiratory Physiologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Respiratory Physiologist to join our dynamic team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Senior Respiratory Physiologist, you will play a key role in providing specialist clinical knowledge and skills in a broad range of respiratory physiological investigations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert care for patients undergoing diagnosis and treatment in the Cardiology & Respiratory Department.
  • Perform a wide range of respiratory procedures, including spirometry, full standard lung function tests, FeNO, respiratory muscle weakness tests, mannitol bronchial challenge testing, bronchodilator reversibility assessments, and cardio-pulmonary exercise tests (CPET).
  • Interpret real-time results and communicate findings to relevant team members and Consultants.
Requirements:
  • Registered by the RCCP or AHCS.
  • ARTP certification is desirable.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience of working within a respiratory unit.
  • In possession of or working towards attaining Intermediate Life Support status.
  • Confident communicator with high levels of written and spoken English.
