Your Tasks:

  • Operate as a member of the Raw Board team, actively helping to achieve optimum plant utilisation and efficiency through coordination and supervision on a shift basis.
  • Ensure all aspects of production and the relevant recording systems are maintained accurately.
  • Provide temporary cover for the Shift Supervisor as and when required (absence, annual leave etc.).
  • Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the department on a shift basis, to be able to provide cover for the Shift Supervisor as required.
  • Identify and communicate training requirements and arrange the availability of personnel.
  • Liaise with Production Management as to the condition of the equipment, maintenance requirements or personnel issues and to keep them informed of any production related issues.
  • Maintain an administrative and orderly system for the section.
  • Provide out of hour's support as required.

Our Requirements:

  • Good standard of secondary education.
  • CIEH Supervising Health and Safety certificate/IOSH Managing Safely
  • Fork Lift Truck License preferred.
  • Related work experience within a supervisory role desirable, with knowledge of the Raw Board department a strong preference.
  • Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience of SAP preferred.
