Health Care Assistant, Band 2, up to111 hours per week available

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on Ward 1 at the West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven. Ward 1 is a surgical elective ward providing care for Orthopaedic, Gynaecology, Breast Care and General surgical patients. We also accept surgical and gynaecological emergency admissions from A&E, WOPD and SDEC. We provide post-operative rehabilitation for Orthopaedic Trauma and general Surgical patients from CIC. Medical outliers within the ward are well supported by experienced ACP' and in-house Medical Consultant.

We offer extended learning opportunities to enhance your skills and support further education.

The role requires staff to work days, nights and weekends.
