About The Role

If you have experience of planning rota's or working in a fast paced customer focussed role, join us as a Shift Coordinator / Shift Booking Advisor and you'll be helping to make sure hospital wards have safe staffing levels allowing the best quality standard of care to be delivered.

Location:
Based at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust,

Charles Hastings Way, Worcester, WR5 1DD

37.5 hours per week covering 8am - 8pm on a rota basis, Monday - Friday /

Office working will be required

£21,300 per annum - plus the opportunity to take advantage a range of exclusive Rewards and Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Matching Bank Members to appropriate shifts available in Trusts.
Making a high number of outbound calls to contact Bank Members to fill available shifts and confirm future availability.

  • Building up close working relationships and rapport with bank members and colleagues.
  • Administration of the shift booking processes.
  • Provide future shift details and promote self service where appropriate.
  • Liaise with NHSP Client teams at the Trust to understand any changes.
  • Take inbound calls from Bank Members and provide a first rate service.
  • Identify any issues preventing Bank Members from working and liaise with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure outcomes of all calls are noted in the relevant internal systems to ensure a high level of service is maintained.
***- Demonstrable experience of working in a customer orientated environment

  • Experience engaging with customers via phone or face to face
  • Experience working in a busy customer service environment
  • The ability to quickly build effective relationships and work as part of a team
  • The ability to build rapport quickly and effectively
  • Flexible in their approach, adaptable to changing business needs
  • The ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload
  • A systematic approach to work
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under your own initiative
  • Experience of dealing with customer complaints
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
