Job Summary:
The Sales Director will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership and the ability to build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify business opportunities and threats.
- Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs for the sales team.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to improve performance and achieve targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of sales staff.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Understand customer needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
- Handle high-profile clients and negotiate contracts.
- Sales Operations:
- Oversee sales operations and ensure efficient processes are in place.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Product Development) to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage sales data and generate reports.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the sales budget.
- Monitor sales expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and report to senior management.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.:
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
