This is a hugely varied role with significant exposure to the Group CFO and VP of Financial Performance, working across the global Finance team, the wider Business Services team and the Business Planning leads to develop and improve our global Group planning, forecasting and long-term strategic processes as well as delivering monthly and quarterly Executive, Board and external SEC reporting.


This role would suit someone who loves pulling lots of sources of information together into a cohesive and easily digestible story.

They would enjoy planning large scale processes and seeing them through to delivery without sweating the possibility of the course being diverted.

They will be highly solution orientated and an expert at adapting to an ambiguous and changing environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead all planning processes including monthly forecasting, annual budget and longterm planning from an FP&A standpoint bringing together all relevant stakeholders across Finance and the business to deliver
  • Evolve the financial planning process to determine the profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow planning requirements for the business, ensuring the right tools are developed to deliver
  • Take a key role in the medium/long term Group planning strategy to give clear direction to Business Units and functions to achieve our Group goals and Strategy, linking the Strategic plan with our financial objectives
  • Develop and deliver the story for the Group given multiple inputs across all business unit that are easily digestible by Exec and Board members
  • Work alongside the External Reporting and Investor Relations teams on delivery of analysis for external quarterly reporting purposes, including the drafting of the management discussion and analysis (MD&A) of the earnings release, production of CFO binder and audit analysis
  • Own consistent reporting and analysis of Group SG&A and Headcount
  • Lead reporting change projects as the business continues to evolve
  • Provide strong leadership to the FP&A team, supporting and developing the team to deliver the teams goals
  • Partner with the wider Finance team to deliver the goals of the Farfetch finance organisation

WHO YOU ARE

  • A qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with considerable PQE
  • Experience managing high performing teams
  • Experience in pulling together consolidated performance across a multipronged business into a cohesive strategy
  • You are an expert in excel (vlookups, Pivots) with AX and SAP knowledge advantageous
  • Experience in listed retail, technology or eCommerce businesses advantageous
  • You have strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • You can operate in ambiguous and changing situations to deliver on the right results
  • You can selfmotivate in a fastpaced and rapidlychanging environment with competing deadlines
  • You are proactive, enthusiastic, ambitious and passionate with attention to detail
