Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

The position will provide advanced insights, value-added analysis, and comprehensive reporting to the division, driving profitability. This role will foster strong relationships with key divisional contacts and support operations in achieving their objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integral part of the Reporting team, assisting in the creation of commercial reports and activities within the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Division and broader Group regarding financial reporting needs and enhancements.
  • Generate weekly and periodic KPI reports, including relevant and insightful commentary, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Assist with ad-hoc analyses alongside key stakeholders to identify critical drivers and any financial implications.
  • Offer analytical support for significant business decisions, new initiatives, and projects.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with key contacts to comprehend the business and its requirements.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Part-qualified accountant or equivalent finance-related qualification.
  • Understanding of financial modeling and analytical methodologies.
  • Proficient in Excel, with programming skills considered an advantage.
  • Capability to manage and analyze large datasets.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering measurable benefits to organizations.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in planning, forecasting, and delivering insights through analysis.
  • Clear commercial awareness.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of responsibilities and drive improvements.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with reporting and analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in writing SQL queries for data extraction.
  • Prior experience in the sports betting or gaming sector is a plus.
