**Resourcing Assistant

Reports to:
Interim People & Culture Resourcing Lead

Location:
Remote - within the UK with occasional travel to Bristol

Salary:
£21,137 p.a. (based on WA pay scale point 20)

Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday

Length of contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

As a member of the People & Culture Team, you will work closely with the Resourcing Lead, coordinating administration activities and processes throughout the recruitment life-cycle to find and recruit the best talent for Women's Aid.


DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration

  • Undertake administrative duties accurately, efficiently and in line with the organisation's policies and procedures.

This will include (but is not limited to):

  • Advertising vacancies
  • CV screening
  • Coordinating shortlisting processes.
  • Assembling interview packs.
  • Keeping the recruitment tracker and recruitment systems up to date at all times.
  • Undertaking any assigned data checks and audits.
  • Assisting with preemployment checks including DBS, right to work in the UK and reference checks.
  • Assisting, with the coordinating and arranging of induction programmes, meetings and training,
  • Provide any other general administration support to People & Culture team members as may be required from time to time.
  • Assist with the development of recruitment 'how to' guides/briefing materials for recruiting managers.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of work as required and work in line with GDPR, at all times.
  • Assist the Resourcing Lead with recruitmentrelated projects.
  • Undertake any other responsibilities or tasks that are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed and commensurate to this role.
  • Travel to Bristol/London regional offices (will be planned in advance) on occasion.

Stakeholders

  • Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide first line advice to managers regarding recruitment and onboarding processes, giving guidance and coaching as needed.
  • Support the HR team to implement any new systems and supporting with the development and administration of any supporting materials.

PERSON SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Experience of working in a busy HR/Recruitment or equivalent highly confidential environment.
  • Working with a multifaceted workload where good organisational and prioritisation skills were pivotal to ensuring accurate and timely delivery of tasks.
  • Commitment to a high standard of customer service
  • Providing information, support and guidance to stakeholders at differing levels.
  • Experienced and confident user of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft PowerPoint as well as video conferencing platforms i.e., Teams, Zoom.

Desirable:

  • Proactive commitment towards safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults, children and young people.

  • Understanding of recruitment lifecycle administration processes.
  • Previous experience in a HR or Recruitment role
  • Experience of working with HR systems
  • Basic understanding of safeguarding

EDUCATION/TRAINING

Essential:

  • Good levels of written English and Maths

SUMMARY OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Terms of appointment:

Salary:
£21,137 per annum. (On an incremental scale guided by the WA pay scale point 20) + benefits. Salary is paid in arrears through bank credit by the 25th of each month.

Working hours:

The standard working hours for this post are 37 hours per week, Remote; benefits include a generous bank holidays and annual leave package and contributory pension scheme.
