We are excited to be recruiting an Assistant Finance Manager to work for an established business based in Kingswinford. The company are going from strength to strength so now is a good time to join the business. The role of the Assistant Finance Managerwill report to the Finance Manager.

The main duties of the role are:

  • To prepare, and deliver timely, complete, and accurate Management Information for the Company on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • To prepare monthly management accounts
  • Contribute to the preparation of the monthly Finance board pack.
  • Update and maintain relevant KPIs for both financial and nonfinancial measures.
  • Monitor costs
  • To complete variance analysis on a monthly basis and report on key areas.
  • Assist with working capital management, to optimise the company's cash position.
  • Upload invoices & credits
  • Complete invoice finance reconciliations to the sales ledger.
  • Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Cashbook finalised journal entries
  • Raising invoices, deposits, and processing credit notes
  • Assisting the business with finance queries
  • Pulling off weekly reports
  • Processing journals
  • Clearing down of customer accounts
  • Reconcile all balance sheet ledgers via blackline (have recently gone back to manual balance sheet reconciliations via excel/word/manual sign off)
  • Manage all payroll queries
  • Excellent analytical skills. Ability to analyses, evaluate and recommend.
  • Experience of ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Creative problem solving
  • Excellent time management
  • AAT Level qualified an advantage.

In return the company will provide full product training, a competitive salary, £32,000 to £35,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a stable work environment.
