We are looking for an innovative and proactive HR Manager to join us in a brand new role and help shape the future of the business for our entire workforce.
The role is an integral part of our growth and will give you the opportunity to really make it your own You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our company culture, whilst providing support and advice to all levels within the business.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a HR Manager (part time, 3-4 days per week) who will bring with them experience of managing change, providing operational HR Support (at all levels) and knowledge of working within a fast paced and growing organisation.
You will be partnering with the employees and management team to provide sound advice in relation to the employee lifecycle, as well as implementing new processes and procedures to help us work more effectively and efficiently moving forward.
You will be based in our Faringdon, Oxfordshire office, but this role will involve regular travel across the UK to meet with the teams You could be spending your time on MOD sites in Hampshire, or meeting the Window Cleaners in Leeds to understand how they are working and sharing your knowledge and best practices.
Responsibilities:
nProvide comprehensive HR support to all departments within the organization.
The role will be based in Faringdon but will have regular travel to other sites.nManage employee relations issues by providing guidance, counselling, and conflict resolution support.nAdminister HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.nSupporting Operations Director, Operations Managers, Service Managers with HR Issues – operational support – grievances, disciplinaries, appraisalsnExecute updated organizational strategies and policies.
(in conjunction with HR Company)nHR Appraisals / Personal development plans / TrainingnMonitoring the Apprentices / Build Apprentice programme (to ensure compliance with their courses).nSupport in administering employee benefits programs, EAP, and other perks offered by the company.nCoordinate and conduct training sessions on various HR-related topics.nMaintain accurate employee records and HR databases.nStay updated on HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and procedures.
Experience:
nProven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in a multi-site organisationnStrong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.nDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.nProficient in Microsoft OfficenAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.nA positive can-do attitudenHave excellent written and oral communication skills;nAbility to work with people at all levels of the organisationnMinimum of CIPD accreditation level 5.
