Software Quality Assurance Tester

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated quality assurance(QA) / software tester to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software applications through thorough testing and meticulous documentation.

Our office is located in Cranfield. Candidates should carefully evaluate their commute and ensure they reside within a reasonable and reliable distance.

Key duties and responsibilities:
n

Testing Execution:

nExecute test cases, scenarios and scripts to validate software functionality, performance and security.nIdentify and report defects, issues and anomalies in a clear and concise manner using bug tracking tools.nCollaborate with developers to reproduce and diagnose reported issues.


nTest Planning and Design :


nParticipate in test planning sessions to understand project requirements and define test strategies.nContribute to the creation of test plans, test cases and test scrips based on functional and technical specifications.


nDocumentation, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:


nCreate detailed and comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test results and defect reportsnParticipate in team meetings, providing insights and suggestions to improve software quality.nStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing methodologies and tools.nContribute ideas to enhance the overall testing process and the quality of the software.


Skills and desirable experiences:

nA Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.nAt least 1 years' experience as a QA tester or similar role.nBasic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing concepts.nKnowledge of programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET, Java) is a plus.nStrong passion for technology and a desire to pursue a career in software testing.nFamiliarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.nAbility to document and troubleshoot errors.nExcellent communication skillsnAttention to detailnAnalytical mind and problem solving ability.nStrong organisational skills.
