The Outpatient Booking Team is currently looking for a Band 3 Patient Administrator to join the team based at Canford House in Poole

This post will initially cover working with the fast-track team booking fast track appointments.

This role could include working in other roles / teams within Outpatient Services as covered in the job description in the future.


In the clinic cancellation team, you will be involved in the day to day cancelling and rebooking of appointments, liaising with patients, completing associated admin in relation to the appointment, amending clinics and dealing with queries as they arise.

You could work in other roles / teams within Outpatient Services as covered in the job description in the future.

You will be working closely with other Patient administrators as well as Consultants and Nursing staff. Previous experience of booking outpatients along with working knowledge and experience of eReferral is desirable for this post. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of people including patients, Consultants and senior management is also essential. You will have computer skills and numerical accuracy.

You must be able to demonstrate that you can work effectively as part of a team and have clear verbal and written communication skills.

Full flexibility required.
