  • As a caretaker, you will be:
  • Proving a responsive and flexible service, assisting new residents as they move into their new homes.
  • Be the first point of contact dealing with resident's enquiries reducing complaints.
  • Involved in maintaining communal areas within our blocks and on our estates, carrying out spot cleaning of communal cleaning areas when required.
  • Waste management e.g. communal bin stores/litter picking the scheme, arranging bulk waste collections.
  • Carrying out small maintenance repairs as required.
  • Reporting and monitoring outstanding repairs.
  • Liaising directly with contractors and answering queries and you must have due regard to health & safety and security issues.

  • GCSE standard in literacy, reading, writing.

  • Capable of carrying out a variety of small repair jobs and working effectively as part of a team and under your own initiative.
  • Trade skills, DIY experience would be an advantage.
  • Able to work on your own initiative and be selfmotivated to organise your own time effectively.
  • Proactive in your daily activities and aware of safe working practices.
