ShorehambySea, West Sussex, United Kingdom ESTEEM Full time

ESTEEM is a Sussex-based charity which involves young adults aged 14-26 in opportunities to develop confidence, build life-skills and improve well-being.

We do this by offering access to 1:1 vocational mentoring, tailored volunteer roles, well-being support services and group activities in a safe and supportive environment.

Based at the Old School House in Shoreham, West Sussex, ESTEEM also provides a free counselling service, overseen by the Wellbeing Manager, with a team of 6 qualified and placement counsellors.

Counsellors provide 1:1 sessions for the young adults who have either self referred via ESTEEM support services pathway or referred in through external agencies.

Each counsellor holds a caseload of clients and offers weekly sessions. The counselling offered is up to 24 (is ongoing) weeks, with reviews taking place periodically (every 12 sessions).

The Well-being Project aims to work with over 100 young people per year aged 14-26, across all of Sussex, who are facing barriers to achieving their life-goals.

Using the five (6) Ways to Wellbeing (Give, Take Notice, Learn, Connect, Be Active), young people will be able to access support, guidance and gain confidence in a safe space.
