- Establish a strong working relationship with ESTEEM colleagues
- Be flexible to respond to the evidenced needs of young adults by delivering services that are not restricted to a 9am-5pm timetable that could include twilight/early evening appointments
- Actively promote participation and for all young adults to be offered the opportunity to have a voice, get involved and to influence operational and strategic direction within ESTEEM
- Use UPSHOT for recording interventions and any work relevant to the young adults in an appropriate, professional and diligent manner.
- Contribute to and be part of the ESTEEMS Counselling Service team and attend line management meetings, team meetings and CPD events as required.
- Work constructively as part of a team and be involved in the development of good practice.
- Carry out, from time to time, any other appropriate duties in line with capabilities as directed by the line manager to support and promote the work of the project.
- Work within all ESTEEMS policies and procedures at all times and to abide by the Code of Conduct.
- Attend ESTEEM mandatory training and abide by our policies and procedures on Safeguarding, Health and Safety and Equality and Diversity.
- Attend appropriate continuing professional development and training events and be committed to team events.
- ESTEEM values counsellor hours and with this in mind we would encourage a maximum of 20 hours of client contact time per week (in & out of ESTEEM commitments), as recommended by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
