The post holder will work within the division to support Matrons to enhance the quality of the practice learning environment by providing support, educational input and development for mentors/supervisors and through acting as a role model in clinical practice for learners. The post holder(s) will be expected to use their initiative, analytical skills and judgement, and will be able to work autonomously and as a committed member of the Urgent Community Response team.

The post holder will work collaboratively with other clinical colleagues, Higher Educational Institutes and other education providers to promote the importance of high quality clinical practice. Ensuring continuous professional development, clinical teaching, supervision and assessment through the participation in the implementation and evaluation of robust educational governance processes in accordance with national standards.

We provide a seven day service within the hours of 08:00 - 22:00. Including Weekends, Evenings & Bank Holidays which is worked on a rostered basis

This is a full-time role - job share would be considered if suitable applicants apply. We welcome flexible working arrangements, and do our best to offer a range of hours to ensure your work life balance is supported whilst delivering the best care to our patients when they need it most.

You must be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
You must have a full driving licence and use of a car.

The post holder will work within the Urgent Community Response/ Virtual ward team providing educational input. The Clinical Facilitator will aid in enhancing the quality of the practice learning environment by providing support & development for staff members. It will also involve facilitating learning for pre-registration students & supporting assessors/supervisors in their roles. The post holder will be expected to use their initiative, analytical skills & judgement. They will be able to work autonomously & as a committed member of the UCR/VW team.
The post holder will work collaboratively with other clinical colleagues, Higher Educational Institutes & other education providers to promote the importance of high-quality clinical practice.
