We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to work within our friendly and supportive research management and governance team.

This is an important and valued role that helps to ensure safe and accurate conduct of research within the Trust.


The post holder will work alongside clinical research staff, as well as external study representatives to ensure the smooth delivery of the research portfolio.

They will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.


The post holder will be expected to exercise initiative, prioritising conflicting work demands, and efficiently communicate verbally and in writing, with a wide range of internal and external colleagues, exercising tact and diplomacy.

The post holder will provide strong administrative support to the R&I department. A key focus on minimising the administrative burden of the Research Management and Governance team.

  • Ensure that the site files for the studies are maintained according to regulatory requirements.
  • To update and maintain R&I information resources including noticeboards, information packs and handbooks.
  • Assist with the ordering of all stationery and medical supplies for research staff using the appropriate procurement system.
  • Responsible for the processing of all amendments ensuring the appropriate sign off has been obtained and all the necessary documentation has been stored electronically and in the relevant site file.
