Administrative Coordinator for Doctoral Training

We are seeking to appoint an experienced administrator who will work closely with the DTP Manager to provide administrative support and coordination for student recruitment, student support, and ensuring accurate record management.


You must be a capable communicator who enjoys working with a broad range of stakeholders (PhD students, academic leads, non-HEI partners).

You will have a degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience.


Amongst other duties, you will be responsible for organising DTP (Doctoral Training Programme) student and staff events within the UK including securing venues, managing attendance, and booking travel and accommodation as needed.

It is important that you are able to travel to support these events within the UK.


Working within the Faculty¿s Postgraduate Affairs & International Partnerships Directorate, this post will be part of the Doctoral Programmes Team.

The Doctoral Programmes Team provides administrative support for all aspects of the postgraduate research applicant and student journey (PhD, DocMED and MPhil), including supporting Doctoral Training Programmes (DTPs).

Student wellbeing support and partnership development is also based in this team.


This post is to cover a period of maternity leave, expected to be from 1 March 2023 until 31 October 2023.
