Based in the Home Counties (but with flexible working) this client has over 20 years of operation and are seen as one of the mostcreative and dynamic design and fit consultancies in the market.

They are now expanding their team and require a Pre-contracts Co-ordinator:

The primary objectives of the role will be managing the estimating process on multiple projects working within the Pre-Contracts team.

To achieve this the role will have a diverse set of responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Design, Pre-Contracts and Project Director teams to check client's requirements.
  • Requesting and collating proposals, estimates and quotes from supply chain and subcontractors.
  • Maintaining excellent Supply Chain relationships.
  • Creating full Cost Proposals for submission to clients.
  • Ensuring project costs stay in line with client budget expectations
  • Considering risk assessments and health and safety requirements within all projects.
  • Working with the Management System.
  • Understanding Construction Industry cost models and D&B methodologies.
  • Developing competitive advantage through internal and external relationships.
  • Develop towards client facing Pre Contract role.

Experience and skills required for this role:

  • Strong maths and analytical skills
  • Highly organised and ability to prioritise workloads
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Good communication and relationship skills
  • Detailed understanding of software programmes including Microsoft 365 suite, particularly Excel and Power Project
  • Excellent time management.
