The Global Digital Team is seeking a Technology Lead to join our fast-paced, high-energy team responsible for delivering cutting edge solutions leveraging Analytics and AI.


This role will be the key point of contact between analytics, IT and CoE teams and will be the go-to contact in the regional analytics team for all IT engagements.

This role will report to VP, Head of Data & Analytics for EMEA and will be based in London.

Major Responsibilities

  • Work closely with developers, architects, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver projects in accordance with Agile principles.
  • Partner with architects to document detailed solution design based on our company and industry standard architecture.
  • Work with the architecture team from model development to model deployment for every analytics solution in the region.
  • Drive best practices within the regional team to ensure transition to IT is smooth. This will include architecture, coding practice, infrastructure, etc. Responsible for getting solutions into production by ensuring all IT checkpoints are met from a technicalstand point and stakeholders aligned.
  • Work with relevant teams to create a streamlined analytics process to speed up time to market. This will include build permit support to IT, code standards and code reviews, infrastructure requirements, data architecture alignment, security protocols
  • Be handson with projects and understand technical details to discuss with IT.
  • Articulate technical data and analytics requirements to various stakeholders.
  • Define individual tasks for the development team and track progress on a regular basis.
  • Ensure high quality code that meets business objectives, quality standards and secure web development guidelines.
  • Work with the business and technology team members to identify opportunities for improvement, and to validate, refine and prioritize user stories.
  • Manage project stakeholder expectations and issue communications on progress.
  • React to shifting priorities without compromising deadlines and momentum.

Minimum Requirements- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years of experience in leading a small development team.

  • Expertise in MEAN (Mongo/Express/Angular/Node) is a must.
  • Experience in development of REST APIs using Open API specification and/or creating specifications with swagger.
  • Experience in one of the prominent cloud platforms is a must. (Azure preferred).
  • Experience with GraphQL is a huge plus.
  • Experience in P&C Insurance is a huge plus.
  • Problem solver with experience of working in a matrix organization.
  • Handson experience of deploying machine learning models.
