The role
Southwark Leisure is looking for a
Customer Service Advisor to join our centre-based teams across the Borough.

Customer Service Advisors go the extra mile to support our customers, delivering the highest standard of service, dealing with customer queries and resolving issues.


Key duties are:

  • To assist customers with activity booking and enrolment on the Centre's courses either in person or over the telephone
  • To work as part of a team to ensure members and visitors are welcomed, and their needs understood in a warm, friendly and professional manner
  • To ensure reconciliation of payments is carried out when required.
  • To operate the public address systems, telephones & booking system.

To succeed as a Customer Service Advisor, you will be a self-motivated, results-driven individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a friendly, confident manner.

You'll have a real passion for delivering the best service by actively listening to and supporting customers who need help or advice.


Additional Information

  • You will need to have good IT, literacy, numerical and communication skills
  • The hours of work will be shift based, requiring early morning, evening and weekend working
  • Roles are available on a full time (36hrs), part time and casual basis
