Job Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical or counselling psychologist with the capability to deliver evidence-based and evidence-led interventions for individuals presenting with complex non-psychosis. We are currently offering one full-time post in the borough of Redbridge NELFT, aimed at enhancing the Redbridge MAP (mood, anxiety, and personality disorder) pathway to deliver an evidence-based service responsive to the needs of our service users. Main Duties of the Job The post holder will work as a core member of the multi-disciplinary team for the Access assessment and brief intervention service offering CBT / EMDR evidence-based interventions via group and individual therapy. We are looking for psychologists who are able and committed to working in partnership with service users and multi-disciplinary teams. Working for Our Organisation Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period. Starting with NELFT NELFT places a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust and will undertake a comprehensive induction which will include training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The post holder will receive supervision from a senior psychologist, and we are committed to supporting identified training and practice development needs. Post holders will have CPD sessions. The psychology service regularly takes doctoral level trainees from London universities. The Trust has a positive commitment to training and development.
