Flux Rotherham is a Creative People and Places Programme funded by Arts Council.
FLUX Rotherham is one of 39 programmes being developed across England as part of the Creative People and Places programme.
Creative People and Places is an Arts Council programme which focuses on parts of the country where involvement in creativity and culture is significantly below the national average.
Each project is completely unique to its area and communities, testing how to grow arts provision in ways that are relevant and lasting.
A core part of our team are our Creative Engagement Officers who work at the heart of The Flux programme.
We're looking for a great team member to join the Engagement Officers to play a key role in enabling people to commission and co-create extraordinary cultural programmes and unforgettable events that will inspire communities across Rotherham.
You will have experience of working with a range of people from diverse backgrounds and in supporting both individuals and organisations.
Our engagement officers are embedded in localities and work with a range of individuals, community groups, artists and organisations at different stages of their journey.
You will provide effective support to people and projects so that community led arts, culture and creativity can start up and thrive.
You'll be able to develop and manage relationships and networks at all levels to grow the role and profile of arts and creativity within communities.
Some evening and weekend work may be necessary to carry out the duties of these posts.The ability to travel to various locations during the course of employment as appropriate will be a requirement of these posts.
