The luxury 57 bedroomed care home will include facilities such as an in-house bar, restaurant standard dining rooms, a full beauty salon, and hairdressing room, a cinema, a convenience store, and outdoor terraces on each floor.

The home will offer beautiful gardens, raised planting and gardening areas, and private seating areas for family, friends, and residents to enjoy.


All the bedrooms are designed to be spacious and will all come fully furnished with en-suite and all will include highly finished décor and interiors.


The care home is situated next to Horsforth Hall Park, and local restaurants and pubs are within good walking distance to and from the Care Home.

The role of an Ancillary Assistant is to work as part of a team providing a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas throughout the home, following appropriate cleaning procedures

Job Description:

  • The use of chemicals & cleaning equipment responsibly & within health & safety guidelines.
  • To clear waste in an appropriate manner.
  • To maintain Health & safety throughout the home for residents, visitors and staff.
  • To keep a high standard of appearance and tidiness throughout the home and to respect each residents' belongings being mindful of their privacy and dignity in their rooms and to their personal property
  • To check the condition of domestic equipment and report any malfunctions, hazards or potential hazards to maintenance.
  • To undertake isolation cleaning where required for residents who need to be protected from infection, or for those who may be infected
  • To ensure that the laundry room is a safe environment for staff and conforms to the legislation laid down under the health and safety at work legislation
  • To ensure that every resident enjoys clean and well maintained laundry and that this is presented to the required standard.
  • To maintain a high standard of laundry in accordance with environmental health requirements.
  • To carry out daily maintenance of the laundry equipment.
  • To ensure stocks of consumables are sufficient and not used wastefully
  • Under the direction of the Chef to assist in kitchen tasks connected with the preparation, cooking, presentation and serving of meals and beverages whilst ensuring the highest quality of service as required by the residents and Management of the home
  • To ensure that a good standard of hygiene and cleanliness be maintained throughout the kitchen and dining area, as set by the Health and Hygiene Authorities and the Management of the home.
  • To carry out general kitchen and dining room duties, such as setting tables, washing up and serving meals to residents.
  • Servery duties including basic meal preparation (Toast/Porridge/Eggs/Sandwiches etc) serving meals, tidying and cleaning tables etc
  • May include at times taking meals to Residents rooms and tidying away once finished.
  • May be a requirement to carry out the Tea round taking the tea/coffee trolley around the floor room to room asking residents what they would like
