We are thrilled to announce an opening within our HR Workforce and Organisational Development Team for a passionate individual eager to contribute to our dynamic team. This is a unique job share opportunity, for someone with a background in Social Work across either Adult or Children's Departments. Your role will be instrumental in guiding Social Work students and experienced Social Workers on their career pathways.
In this position, you'll engage in meaningful collaboration with a diverse range of internal and external colleagues. You'll also have the chance to hone new skills and expand your knowledge base through partnerships with Higher Education Institutions, including our ongoing work with the D2N2 Teaching Partnership.
Your responsibilities will include arranging placements for social work students, creating support systems for those training to become Practice Educators, organising shadowing, skills days, and work experience programmes. You will also play a pivotal role in the co-ordination of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) supporting Newly Qualified Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication abilities, coupled with strong planning and organisational skills. A proactive and flexible approach to work is essential.

This role is available as a secondment opportunity or a fixed term contract to the end of March 2025.
