Forté Health recognises the vital importance of the effective and efficient delivery of finance activities and as such are looking for a talented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their finance, inventory, information technology (IT), and facilities functions and positively impact on the growth of the organisation.

About the opportunity


Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and leading a capable team of finance, inventory, IT and facilities professionals, the CFO will contribute to and be accountable for the organisation's financial strategy and financial and management reporting.


Other key responsibilities include:

  • As a key advisor, lead the provision of high quality financial and commercial reporting, analytics and advice to the CEO, the Board and the leadership team to support strategic and major operational decisions with real impact on the business
  • Supporting strategic growth initatives by providing financial modelling and forecasting to help with informed and robust decisionmaking
  • Contribute to the hospital leadership team with a proactive, collaborative and positive attitude
  • Provide advice to the Board and Chief Executive Officer on strategic financial, accounting and commercial issues
  • Work closely with the business as a trusted commercial partner
  • Actively manage business risk, developing the frameworks and providing information, advice and remedial solutions or mitigating action as required
  • Capably lead a diverse and experienced team of finance, inventory, IT and facilities professionals, ensuring these individuals are engaged, developed and achieve their goals
  • Enhance and lead a culture of cultural awareness and sensitivity to the individual cultural, religious, or spiritual needs of patients at Forté Health Ltd


This is a vital role in enabling the CEO and other members of the leadership team to focus on strategic outcomes and operational delivery; knowing that the advice, data and reporting provided by all areas of the finance, inventory, IT and facilities functions are on point, valuable and proactively delivered.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Chartered Accountant with strong, commercial CFO experience and proven capability as a proactive advisor to executives and boards.

Commercially skilled and experienced, you will ideally have worked within industries relevant to Forte Health.


Naturally engaging and driven to continuously improve, you will know what it takes to deliver the service needed by the business and your ability to create strong working relationships will be vital to your success.
