RSW are working closely with their prestigious client based in the Pontypool area where we are looking to recruit semi skilled operators.

The positions are on a temporary on going basis.

As part of the role you will be required to assemble and / or produce component parts whilst following a standard operating procedure, ensuring the products are built to the right quality and compliance specification.

Shifts are a fixed day shift working pattern, but could change with business needs.

The Role:

  • To produce, assemble and install parts to the highest standards, following SOP's
  • Highlighting any production concerns to your Technical or Managerial lead
  • To complete any process documentation as is required, in line with the build instructions taking ownership and accountability of this process
  • Operate machinery in line with the production schedule
  • Take responsibility for the quality of product produced within your area through management of and compliance with quality systems
  • Improve and maintain high levels of quality on all output from production to the final end customer
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping and hygiene are maintained at all times
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by your manager
  • Must have experience of working within an assembly position
  • Will work towards targets and tight deadlines
  • Will work as a team member or as a stand alone person
  • Will h be proactive and positive in your approach, with a desire to succeed both personally and for the business
  • Automotive experience is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Team player
  • Car driver desirable due to location
