Production Operative Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Operative to join our team in Pontypool. As a key member of our GRP department, you will be responsible for the production of BCCH products using various methods, including Finishing, spray laminating, and moulding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spray laminate chimney coves, install and laminate flashing channel
  • Trimming and finishing of products
  • Preparation of moulds for production
  • Maintenance of daily and weekly tasks to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Produce products to high quality standards
  • Achieve daily work targets and deadlines
  • Work safely and effectively using manual and mechanical methods
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a high standard of housekeeping
  • Participate in ongoing personal development and training to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a busy production environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and requirements for working with machinery, glues, and resins
  • Experience with engineering drawings and production job sheets
  • Ability to produce work to a high standard of accuracy and quality
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to organize work and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work within a multi-functional team
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, following initial training and induction
  • Experience with hand-held tools and equipment
