Care Concern Group is looking to appoint a Finance Assistant.

As Finance Assistant, you will get exposure to all financial departments within the organisation, helping maintain our company's financial health and make sure we use our resources efficiently.

Care Concern Group is a market leading, family-owned care group operating over 70 homes across the UK. We are passionate about creating fantastic care homes for our residents to live in and a supportive and fun environment for our team to work in.

Contract
The role is based full-time at Limewood care home

£25,000 per annum Pension 5.6 weeks annual leave Contracted to 37.5 hours per week. 1 hour for lunch Onsite parking

Responsibilities

Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions. Track and reconcile bank statements. Prepare monthly payroll and share the spreadsheets with external provider and keep organized records. Creation and ownership of resident fee invoicing and keeping close follow up on debtors with Local authorities and private residents. Receiving and reviewing suppliers' invoices and posting them to xero Prepare suppliers pay run and create payments on bank for authorisations Keeping control over Petty cash transactions and submission of all receipts to invoicing system Assist in preparing cashflow forecasts. Any other task assigned by Financial Controller.

Experience Required

Excellent data entry skills fast and accurate. Working knowledge of Xero is preferrable. Strong IT skills and in particular Excel. Highly organised and a complete finisher' Strong numerical skills. A Team player with can do attitude. Highly organised and a complete finisher' A problem solver with the ability to assume responsibility and act on own initiative.
