You will work with a team of experienced business practitioners, working closely with their technical advisory teams, and alongside economists, financial experts, data scientists and project management professionals to develop large-scale and complex projects to deliver their clients' strategic plans.

About the job:

They currently require the services of a Cost Engineer

This role will include:

  • Providing economic assessment of complex engineering projects,
  • Lead the development of cost and financial modelling (topdown and bottomup),
  • Performing value for money assessments and measurement of net social value,
  • Develop and author 'Green Book' compliant business cases,
  • Perform economic assurance reviews,
  • Conducting market analysis of supply and demand,
  • Calculating macroeconomic impacts of projects and programmes

To be suitable for this role you will:
  • Ideally you will hold a Degree from a university in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience developing and/or reviewing one or more dimensions of 'Green Book' compliant business cases.
  • Strong data analysis, interrogation, quality and visualisation skills.
  • A proven ability to derive insights from data and combine with economic insight.

Business Case Consultant

Location:
UK Wide offices include Bristol, Leatherhead, Manchester, Burton, Manchester (Hybrid/home working will be offered)

Salary: 40-60K plus exceptional Benefits


Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens.

Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
